CHEMICAL NAME Artesunate (Arte - SUN - ate)
Falcigo (Artesunate) is an antimalarial drug that is used to treat the extreme cases of malarial or plasmodium strains. This is used when all other Methods or treatment of malaria have failed. Despite this, it cannot be used to prevent malaria.
According to WHO, this medication is the first line treatment to malaria. The above medication is a hydrophilic derivative of artemisinin.
Common side effects of using Falcigo (Artesunate) include - loss of appetite, dizziness, nausea and diarrhea.
