What if you miss a dose of Sodium Cromoglycate.:-
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
How Sodium Cromoglycate works.:-
It works by preventing the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It is a mast cell stabilizer. It works on certain cells in the body to prevent them from releasing substances that cause allergic reactions. It acts by blocking the release of inflammatory mediators such as leukotrienes, platelet activation factor, and interleukin which is a mainly responsible for allergic symptoms of eye.
