CHEMICAL NAME Apixaban (apix-A-ban)
Apixaban is a prescription based anti-coagulant or blood thinner. It is used to reduce the risk of strokes and blood clots. This is highly recommended in case of atrial fibrillation.
This is used to help people with kidney or hip replacement surgery. This helps to prevent deep vein thrombosis or DVT.
Common side effects of using Apixaban includes - headache, diarrhea, runny nose, dizziness or haze.
