Alrex Eye Drop works by stopping certain chemicals from producing an inflammatory response in your body. Alrex Eye Drop is also contraindicated in individuals with known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this preparation and to other corticosteroids.
You should not use the Alrex Eye Drop if you are allergic to loteprednol or other corticosteroids.
Do not touch the tip of the eyedropper to your eye, as it can contaminate the dropper and infect your eye. Do not use the dropper if the liquid has changed color, or has particles floating in it.
Some people should be more cautious taking Alrex if they have certain conditions. Be sure to talk with your doctor if you have any of the following:
• Cataracts (or recent cataract removal surgery);
